LA CROSSE — The Logan/Luther co-op girls soccer team scored three time sin the first half and held off a late Mauston rally for a 3-2 nonconference victory at Swanson Field on Monday.
Mackenzie Torgerud, Emma Kolb and Alysha Hayes all scored for the Rangers (4-6-2), who received a big save from Nani Lor on a penalty kick in the second half.
Torgerud’s goal came with an assist from Riley Horn in the 10th minute, and Kolb scored unassisted to make it 2-0 in the 19th.
Horn was there again to set up Hayes on the final goal that gave Logan/Luther a 3-0 lead in the 40th minute.
West Salem 4, Tomah 2
TOMAH — The Panthers (4-4-2, 3-2-2 MVC) scored three time sin the first half and once in the second to beat the Timberwolves.
West Salem has won three straight games and outscored those opponents by a 16-3 margin.
The Panthers scored three goals in the first half and one in the second. Maya Hoff scored once in each half, and Ava Schuster had both of her goals in the first half.
