LA CROSSE — The Logan/Luther co-op girls soccer team scored three times in the first half on its way to a 5-0 nonconference victory over Richland Center at Swanson Field on Saturday.
The Rangers (6-6-2) won their third game in a row and held an 18-2 advantage in shots.
Ong Moua and Emma Kolb scored twice and assisted on a third goal for Logan/Luther.
Moua scored with an assist from Mackenzie Torgerud to get things going in the fifth minute before Moua assisted Kolb on her first goal 12 minutes later. Riley Horn’s goal with an assist from Kolb at 22 minutes, 23 second produced the 3-0 halftime lead.
Kolb and Moua both scored unassisted in the second half.
Central 5, Tomah 0
LA CROSSE — Senior Grace Wilkerson scored two goals and assisted on two for the RiverHawks (7-4-1, 3-4-1 MVC) at Fields for Kids.
Cam Woyczik had seven saves to give Central its seventh shutout of the season.
Wilkerson scored both of her goals in the first half to give Central a 2-0 lead. Brooke Thomson assisted on the first score and Madden Xiong on the second.
Wilkerson then assisted on a Mae Yang goal for a 3-0 halftime lead.
Ellia Dale scored with an assist from Yan in the 46th minute, an Elin Blackbourn used a pass from Wilkerson to score in the same minute.
Holmen 2, Marshfield 0
MARSHFIELD — The Vikings (12-3-1), who are eighth in this week’s Division 2 ranking by state coaches, scored both of their goals in the second half to extend their winning streak to five games.
Holmen also picked up its third straight shutout and has allowed just one goal in its past six games.
Sophie Seiler struck first by putting an assist from Lydia Sader over the goalkeeper on one touch in the 53rd minute. Sader then used a corner kick to set up the second goal, which was converted by Paige Olson off a corner kick in the 72nd minute.
