LA CROSSE — The Logan/Luther co-op girls soccer team closed out its regular season with a 2-0 victory over visiting Baraboo at Swanson Field on Thursday.
The Rangers (9-7-2) moved their winning streak to three games entering the WIAA Division 2 postseason with two first-half goals to beat the Thunderbirds.
Ong Moua broke the scoreless tie when she converted a pass from Emma Kolb in the 19th minute. Riley Horn later doubled the lead when her shot from outside the box connected in the right corner of the net in the 25th minute.
The Thunderbirds threatened with a scoring opportunity in the closing seconds of the first half, but Nani Lor stepped up with a big save in a one-on-one situation.
Logan/Luther is seeded fifth for its regional and plays at fourth-seeded Tomah in a semifinal on Tuesday.
