Thursday ASL report: Holmen scores 16 runs for first wiffle ball victory since 2023

HOLMEN — The Holmen High School ASL wiffle ball team scored all of its runs in four innings on the way to a 16-10 victory over visiting Onalaska at the Bernie L. Ferry Fieldhouse on Thursday.

Sophomore Kain Carlisle hit a first-inning home run, and seniors Karsen Nelson and Carter Van Lin drove in runs with hots. Van Lin and senior Josie Colombo pitched for the Vikings, who had an 8-1 lead at one point and won for the first time since the 2023 season.

Holmen had five new players in its lineup, and freshman Gabe Schams turned in a solid performance during his first game at first base.
