LA CROSSE — The Logan High School baseball team won its third game in a row by scoring all of its runs in the fourth and fifth innings of an 11-0 nonconference win over visiting La Crescent-Hokah on Friday.
Third baseman Jackson Bosch had the big game for the Rangers (8-6). He finished 2 for 4 with a double, home run and six driven in. His grand slam to left field ended the game in the bottom of the fifth. Bosch also doubled home two runs on a hit to left in the fourth inning.
Keegan Anderson pitched a two-hit shutout with three strikeouts and no walks.
Designated hitter Jesse Lycke and outfielder Charlie Zellner also had two hits a piece for Logan. Zellner and Owen Check doubled in the victory.
Caledonia 6, Fillmore Central 2
CALEDONIA — The Warriors (10-6) trailed 2-0 before scoring three runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth to beat the Falcons in the first game of a doubleheader that wasn’t finished due to darkness.
Catcher Jacob Klug was 2 for 3 with three runs driven in, two scored and three of his team’s 12 stolen bases.
Shortstop Tyson Ginther was also 2 for 4 with two stolen bases, and pitcher/first baseman Jack Schmitz singled and stole three bases. First baseman/third baseman Max Schmitz walked twice, scored twice and stole two bases.
Jack Schmitz pitched 5 2/3 innings and finished with 11 strikeouts, three walks and four hits allowed.
Melrose-Mindoro 5, Osseo-Fairchild 3
OSSEO — The Mustangs (10-2) scored twice i the top of the seventh inning to help themselves to a win over the Thunder.
Pitcher shortstop Colton Koss was 3 for 5 with a triple, a run driven in and a stolen base for Melrose-Mindoro, which led 3-2 before a fielder’s choice brought third baseman Eric Herzberg home, and an error allowed Isaiah Kleinsmith to score in the seventh.
Center fielder Brett Peterson also singled twice and drove in a run, and first baseman Brady Blaken stole two bases for the Mustangs.

LA CROSSE — The RiverHawks (9-7) were swept by the Panthers at Copeland Park.
Center fielder Jordan Candahl was 2 for 3, and shortstop Aiden Schulze doubled and drove in Candahl with Central’s only run in the first game.
The RiverHawks had four hits in each game, and Schulze went 2 for 3 with another double in the second game.
