RUSHFORD — The Caledonia High School girls golf team used a second-place individual finish from Hayden Harms to win a championship at the Trojan Invitational on Wednesday.
The Warriors played to a team score of 356 to win the six-team event, which was played at Ferndale Golf Course, and placed comfortably ahead of second-place St. Charles (409) and third-place Lanesboro (410).
Harms, a junior, shot an 11-over-par 83 and finished one shot behind Lanesboro medalist Addison McCabe. Harms highlighted her round with a birdie at No. 5.
Junior Maggie Herman shot an 89, junior Jazzlyn Hauser a 91 and freshman Emersyn Klug a 93 to round out Caledonia’s scorecard.
Hauser carded birdies at No. 2 and No. 5, and Klug birdied No. 6. Sophomore Ellison Harms also shot a 94 with a birdie at No. 6 and sophomore Alexis Sauer a 96 for the Warriors.
