LA CROSSE — The Central High School girls soccer team scored seven times in the first half, and senior Grace Wilkerson became the program’s career leader in goals at Fields for Kids on Monday.

Wilkerson scored all three of her goals in the first half and ran her career total to 69 in an 11-0 nonconference victory over Melrose-Mindoro/G-E-T.

Wilkerson passed previous career leader Kate Heiderscheit (68) with her third goal, which came unassisted in the 14th minute. She also scored in the second and eighth minute — both unassisted — and has eight goals this season for the RiverHawks (3-1).

Mae Yang, Brooke Thomson and Cleo Fannin also scored in the first half to give Central the 7-0 lead. Brynn Bosshard assisted on Thomson’s goal and Claire Klein-Borgert assisted on Fannin’s.
