Monday boys basketball report: Arcadia gets double-double from Teske; Holmen back in tie for first place

BANGOR — The Arcadia High School boys basketball team won for the fifth time in six games with a 67-46 nonconference victory at Bangor.

Senior Ted Teske had 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Raiders (10-6), who had a 32-19 halftime lead behind 12 of Teske’s points and four 3-pointers from other players.

Senior Kaiden Rotering made four of Arcadia’s 11 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 21 points. Sophomore Carter Wegman also made four 3s and scored 14 points. Rotering and Wegman each scored eight points in the first half.

Holmen 75, Tomah 73

TOMAH — The Vikings (13-4, 5-2) pushed themselves back into a tie with Aquinas and Central for first place in the MVC when senior Kaiden Wilber scored at the rim with 6 seconds left to break a tie with the Timberwolves (6-10, 1-6).

Sophomore Quinn Gerke made Tomah a tough team to beat by scoring 37 points and making 9 of 10 attempts from the 3-point line.

Wilber made 6 of 8 3-point attempts and scored a team-high 25 points for the Vikings, who made 59 percent of their shots (28 of 47) and went 14 for 22 from the 3-point line.

Sophomore Jayden Bartels made three 3s and added 13 points, and junior Alex Berget scored 12 to go with four steals.
