ONALASKA — Craig Kowal, who coached the Onalaska High School boys basketball team to 347 victories, eight MVC championships and a WIAA Division 2 state championship, resigned Friday after 18 seasons of at the head of the program.
The Hilltoppers were 21-4 overall and 11-1 in the conference last season and won 81 percent of their MVC games under Kowal’s leadership.
