ROCHESTER — The Caledonia High School girls golf team just missed out om the second day of MSHSL Section 1AA tournament after shooting a 346 at Northern Hills Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Warriors placed fifth after the first day, and the top four advance to the second day of competition on Thursday. But all of Caledonia’s golfers will continue individually.
Lake City shot the best team score of the day with a 332, and the Warriors were three shots behind fourth-place Red Wing’s 343.
Caledonia has three golfers tied for ninth place after the first day.
Junior Jazzlyn Hauser, junior Maggie Herman and freshman Emersyn Klug all shot 13-over-par 85.
Hauser recorded birdies on No. 5 and No. 7 and Klug had a birdie on No. 14.
Junior Hayden Harms added a 91 to the Warriors’ team score, and she carded birdies on No. 6 and No. 9.
Sophomore Alexis Sauer shot a 98 and sophomore Ellison Harms a 100 for Caledonia.
