WAUKON — The Caledonia High School girls golf team won a triangular over Waukon (Iowa) and Houston (Minn.) on Friday.
The Warriors shot a 172 at the Waukon Golf and Country Club to beat Waukon (228) and the Hurricanes (268).
The score is Caledonia’s lowest of the season, and it was led by rounds of 4-over-par 42 by Maggie Herman and Jazzlyn Hauser.
Herman was named medalist through a tiebreaker.
Hayden Harms and Ellison Harms added 44s to round out the Warriors’ score, but Emersyn Klug (46) gave Caledonia the five low golfers for the triangular.
Hayden Harms recorded a birdie on No. 5, and Herman carded one on No. 6. Jazzlyn Hauser and Ellison harms both birdied No. 8.
