HARTFORD — The Holmen High School boys golf team shot a collective 344 to place 38th out of 54 teams in the Washington County Invitational at the Hartford Golf Club on Friday.
The Vikings were led by senior Logan Pinnow’s 11-over-par 83. Pinnow was 5 over on the front nine and 6 over on the back after carding birdies on Nos. 6 and 7.
Waunakee senior was meet medalist with a 4-under 68, and the Warriors shot a 295 to beat second-place De Peter (299) by four strokes.
The Vikings also received scoring rounds from senior Ayden Dirks (85), senior Braylan Welch (88) and senior Cole Vanlin (88). Vanlin birdied the 11th hole on the way shooting 8 over on the back nine.
