The Aquinas and Onalaska high school boys basketball teams earned No. 1 seeds for the upcoming WIAA tournament series in brackets that were released on Sunday.
The Hilltoppers (19-3) have a top seed in Division 2, and the Blugolds (18-4) have a top seed in Division 3. Both earned first-round byes.
Onalaska will host either eighth-seeded Menasha (8-15) or ninth-seeded Shawano (7-15) in a regional semifinal on March 6, and Aquinas will host either seventh-seeded Lodi (14-8) or 10th-seeded Wisconsin Dells (10-12) in a regional semifinal.
Central (19-3) was awarded a No. 2 seed and first-round bye in Division 2, and it will host either seventh-seeded Sparta (10-12) or 10th-seeded Waupaca (5-17) in the semifinals.
West Salem (19-3) is seeded fourth in Division 2 and hosts New London (14-7) in the regional semifinal round, and Logan (2-20) is an 11 seed and travels to sixth-seeded Tomah (11-11) for a quarterfinal game on March 3.
Holmen (13-10) is seeded 10th in Division 1 and opens with a regional semifinal at seventh-seeded Kimberly (14-9).
Luther (13-10) is seeded sixth and Melrose-Mindoro (10-12) eighth in Division 4.
The Knights host 11th-seeded Spring Valley (7-15) in a regional quarterfinal on March 3, and the Mustangs host ninth-seeded Mondovi (8-14) in a regional quarterfinal the same night.
