WEST SALEM — The G-E-T/Melrose-Mindoro co-op boys wrestling team won two matches by pin and two more by technical fall on the way to a 39-32 Coulee Conference dual victory over West Salem/Bangor on Tuesday.
The Titans received pins from junior Colton Koss at 126 pounds and sophomore Braden Peterson at 175 and technical falls from senior Gunnar Johnson at 157 and senior Landon Windsor at 165 to beat the Catbirds.
West Salem/Bangor was within 33-32 when Landon Rieber pinned Jaden Page in 44 seconds at 113, but G-E-T/Mel-Min’s Koda Purney had his hand raised via forfeit in the final match at 120 for the margin of victory.
G-E-T/Mel-Min’s Jayce Stetzer pulled out an 11-8 sudden victory over Justice Elam at 144, and G-E-T/Mel-Min’s Aaron Dunigan recorded a 22-9 major decision over Miles Olson at 215. Peterson’s pin at 175 came at the 5:557 mark against Caden Anderson.

Marshfield 118, Logan/Central/West Salem 51
Central senior Nathan Ivens was part of four second-place finishes for the Logan co-op at UW-La Crosse.
Ivens swam with the runner-up 200-yard medley relay (1 minute, 55.7 seconds) and 400 freestyle relay (3:58.91) and was second in both the 200 individual medley (2:19.82) and 100 freestyle (57.16).
Danny Lenz, a senior from Logan, also swam with those relays and added second-place points in the 500 freestyle (6:42.29). Noah Stewart, a West Salem senior, was also part of both relays and placed second in the 100 butterfly (1:07.57).
Logan senior Brett Jeffries was part of the 400 freestyle relay and added second place in the 200 freestyle (2:12.58), and Logan sophomore Parker Wolff rounded out the 200 medley relay.
