LA CROSSE — The Onalaska/Holmen/Aquinas boys swim team won the final five events to make up an early deficit and score an 86-76 victory over La Crosse/West Salem at UW-La Crosse on Thursday.
Seth Russell and Daniel Ott each gave their team first-place points in four events with two individual victories.
Russell won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 1.06 seconds and followed it up with a win in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:24.9. Russell also swam with the winning 200 freestyle (1:42.68) and 400 freestyle (4:02.28) relays.
Ott swam with the same two relays and added victories in the 200 individual medley (2:32.56) and 100 breaststroke (1:24.72).
Deacon Durnil and Warrick Ranis also swam with both winning relays, and teammate Austin Bork won the 100 backstroke (1:18.72).
Parker Wolff was part of three victories for La Crosse/West Salem.
He swam with Nathan Grilley, Gabe Driscoll and Charlie Larson to win the 200 medley relay in 2:09.01 and picked up wins in both the 50 freestyle (26.12) and 100 butterfly (1:13.07).
Larson added an individual victory in the 100 freestyle (1:03.78).
