BLACK RIVER FALLS — The Arcadia High School girls golf team placed second to Black River Falls in a Coulee Conference meet that featured a 1-under-par 35 from Westby/Viroqua’s Maddi Fletcher on Monday.
The Raiders shot a team score of 225 and were 16 shots behind the Tigers at Skyline Golf Course. Fletcher was medalist and had an eagle and birdie while playing the front nine.
Fletcher eagled the par-5 third and birdied the par-4 seventh and finished 12 shots ahead of the pack.
Arcadia was led by junior Kalyce Sobotta’s 53and junior Amaya Schelsser’s 55. Juniors Riley Walters and Sacia Boland added rounds of 58 and 59, respectively, for the Raiders.
Sobotta’s score was good for seventh place individual, and Schlesser’s landed her in the eighth spot.
