LA CROSSE — The Logan/Central wrestling co-op posted a pair of dual victories while hosting a triangular at Central on Tuesday.
La Crosse beat Baraboo 54-29 and Independence/Gilmanton 60-18 and won 10 of 16 contested matches along the way.
Noah Nicholson recorded two pins for La Crosse at 215 pounds. He beat Baraboo’s Kadin Marz in 55 seconds and Independence/Gilmanton’s Juan Morales in 1:11.
Sawyer Doering also recorded two victories apiece for La Crosse. Doering pinned Baraboo’s Ethan Huelsemann in 3 minutes and handed Independence/Gilmanton’s Preston Solberg a 6-3 defeat in matches at 175.
West Salem/Bangor 51, Sparta 23
WEST SALEM — The Catbirds won 10 of 14 matches — all of which were wrestled — at the middle school.
Jarrett Plomedahl (138), Justice Elam (150), Caden Anderson (175), Trevor Arentz (190), Miles Olson (215), Teghan Moore (106) and Gavin Loging (126) all recorded pins for West Salem/Bangor. Devon Lietzau (144), Cadence Zwiefel (285) and Landon Connelly (113) won by pin for the Spartans.
Pearce Mathison also won by technical fall for Sparta at 120.
