WEST SALEM — After two seasons away from the team, Justin Jehn is returning to be the next football coach at West Salem High School.
Jehn, who left his post to become the high school’s principal, was announced as the next coach Monday night. He replaces current activities director Ryan Olson, who guided the team to a 17-5 record after replacing Jehn and stepping down after last season.
Jehn was bumped up from his spot as an assistant coach to head coach prior to the 2014 season and coached the Panthers to a 65-35 record and WIAA Division 3 state runner-up finish in 2022.
