ROCHESTER — The Caledonia High School boys basketball team got some postseason revenge on Cannon Falls at the Rochester Mayo Civic Arena on Tuesday night.
The sixth-seeded Warriors, who were beaten by the Bombers by 18 points near the end of the regular season, beat third-seeded Cannon Falls in an MSHSL Section 1AA quarterfinal and advanced to a semifinal game against Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Saturday afternoon.
Caledonia (17-10) plays the second-seeded Cougars (23-4) at 1 p.m. in the same venue after ending the Bombers season at 21-7.
Sophomore Grant King scored 28 points for the Warriors, who led most of the game and survived a couple of missed free throws in the closing seconds to win.
Cannon Falls had the ball last and missed a heave from three-quarters court as time expired.
Sophomore Colin Stemper, junior Jacoby Hammell, sophomore Griffin Gantenbein and senior Aaron Stemper all scored seven points for Caledonia, which was beaten by Cannon Falls 81-63 on Feb. 20.

TOMAH — The sixth-seeded Timberwolves ended the season for the 11th-seeded Rangers (2-23), who lost their last 12 games.
Senior Dio Leone led Logan with 18 points, while senior Adrian Bye added 14 and sophomore Charlie Zellner 12.

ONALASKA — Senior Brody Greeno scored 23 points, and freshman Javon Zenke had 14 of his 16 in the second half as the sixth-seeded Knights (14-11) advanced to a semifinal at third-seeded Osseo-Fairchild on Friday.
