LA CROSSE — In a game that went down to the wire, the West Salem/Bangor co-op ASL floor hockey team pulled out a 7-5 victory over Logan on Thursday.
The visiting Panthers used an emphasis of spreading the puck around to set up shots that they used to win the game. Coach Ashly Serres said players were encouraged to use as many teammates as possible to move the puck around the court and find scoring opportunities.
Levi Wulf scored five goals and Lexi Randall two for West Salem/Bangor.

Holmen 5, Central 1
LA CROSSE — The Vikings remained unbeaten with a 5-0 record after traveling to beat the RiverHawks.
Holmen scored three times in the first period and cruised from there to record another victory.
Carter Van Lin, Connor Siverhus and Andrew Bell all scored in the first period, with the Siverhus goal set up by an assist from Van Lin.
A shot-heavy second period for both teams featured just one goal, and that came from Aiden Romskog scored late in the period for a 4-0 Holmen lead.
Romskog’s second goal came in the third period and provided the final score for the Vikings.
The Vikings are using a defensive approach of disrupt, disrupt, disrupt, and it’s been working. Gabriella Villareal, Nick Hermann, Kian Carlisle, Jett Lewis, Kai Rice, Karsen Nelson and Livy Reardon were key players in that defensive approach against Central.
