High school girls volleyball: Players to watch in 2025

Both the Holmen and Aquinas high school girls volleyball teams finished their seasons at the WIAA state tournament in 2024, and the Vikings will try to hold off the Blugolds and Onalaska to win their fifth straight MVC championship.

West Salem has won 26 straight Coulee Conference matches and has been the unbeaten champ the past two seasons.

AVERY AUGEDAHL, jr., Caledonia: A setter who was on the All-Three Rivers Conference first team and opened the season with 37 assists in a match against Cannon Falls.

CHARLEY CASEY, sr., Holmen: An outside hitter who led the Vikings with 275 kills as a junior. … Added 182 digs and 27 total blocks to go with 21 service aces. … Enters season with 572 career kills and 407 career digs.

SAMANTHA DAVIS, sr., Aquinas: A dominant outside hitter who had 420 kills and averaged 4.2 per set for a team that qualified for the WIAA Division 3 state tournament. … Also had 240 digs and was in in 41 blocks. … Enters season with 921 career kills

TATUM DRAZKOWSKI, jr., Arcadia: A middle hitter who ranked second for the Raiders in kills (192) and led it with 63 total blocks. … Also ranked third on the team in digs (213) and had 29 service aces.

MACY KLINE, sr., Holmen: A Division I UW-Green Bay commit as a libero who had 485 digs (14.7 per match) last season and has 1,332 during her career. … Topped 50 service aces for the third straight year with 51 and had a career-high 96 assists as a junior.

AUBRIE KLUG, sr., Caledonia: An outside hitter with 360 digs and 155 kills as a member of the All-Three Rivers Conference first team.
