LA CROSSE — The Logan High School boys tennis team won two and lost one dual meet during a parade of matches taking place throughout the La Crosse area on Saturday.
The Rangers beat Mauston 7-0, beat West Salem 5-2 and lost to a combined team from Sun Prairie East and West 4-3.
Cael Novak and Sam Bleidorn turned in a big performance with a three-set win over Sun Prairie’s No. 1 doubles team. Novak and Bleidorn were down 5-2 in the second set before coming back for a 9-7 victory and then winning the third set 10-8.
Novak and Bleidorn also won in straight sets against West Salem and Mauston.
Harrison Pataska won in straight sets twice at No. 3 singles and collected a forfeit in a match at No. 4.
Rohan Pande and Isaac Gabriel won twice together at No. 2 doubles, and Gabriel teamed up with Parker Stevemer to win another match at that flight. Stevemer also won twice in singles competition.
Onalaska 6, New Richmond 1
ONALASKA — The Hilltoppers swept the singles matches and won twice in doubles.
Lewis Go won in straight sets at No. 1 singles, and Matt Arsenault (No. 2), Gavin Sommerfield (No. 3) and Aayush Daithankar (No. 4) all did the same.
Onalaska’s No. 1 doubles team of Vishnu Prakash and Porter Mallady was challenged by emerged with a 6-4, 7-6 victory. Bradley Baker and Elliot Glebke also won for Onalaska in three sets at No. 3 doubles.
