HOLMEN — The Holmen High School girls wrestling team had three competitors sweep through three matches apiece during a tournament hosted at the Bernie L. Ferry Fieldhouse on Monday.
No team scores were kept, and the invitational included teams from MVC, Coulee, Scenic Bluffs, Dairyland and SWC schools.
The Vikings received unbeaten performances from Kaytlynn Lambries, Haley Dezelske and Peyton Kratochvill.
Lambries won twice by pin and once my technical fall, while Dezelske pinned all three of her opponents. Kratochvill scored two pins and beat Sparta’s Mikaela Dixon 10-3.
Lambries beat Arcadia’s Heidi Hernandez 18-3 before pinning Tomah’s Calynn Ollendick 23 seconds and West Salem/Bangor’s Ihlee Schniepp-Duffy in 2:57. Dezelske pinned Sparta’s Karyna Carlson in 1:37, Logan/Central’s Emylie Vang in 45 seconds and Stevens Point’s Nhava Cabral in 4:51.
Kratochvill started her night with a 44-second pin of Tomah’s Mackenzee Perry and closed it by finishing Stevens Point’s Aubree Rzepka in 4:36.
Jozie Collins and Avalee Euler also went 2-1 for Holmen.
Sophia Paulson went 2-1 for Aquinas and pinned Black River Falls’ Charlie Heath in 1:34 and Blair-Taylor’s MaryJane Flynn in 37 seconds.
Arcadia received 2-1 performances from both Madison Mahutga and Hernandez. Mahutga pinned Holmen’s Aubrey Hauser in 54 seconds and Stevens Point’s Emersyn Sapp in 1:24. Hernandez followed her loss to Lambries by pinning Holmen’s Elsie Hakala in 2:41 and Eau Claire Memorial’s Nadean Sanchez in 1:39.
Myrikal Johnson won twice for Logan/Central with a pin over Tomah’s Rylee Perry in 1:53 and one in 1:14 over Tomah’s Kylie Hayes.
