Saturday gymnastics report: Onalaska/Luther second in meet at PEG

LA CROSSE — The Onalaska/Luther co-op gymnastics team put up a collective score of 137.675 to place second and lead local teams during the Logan/Central Invitational at Performance Elite Gymnastics on Saturday.

Onalaska/Luther was second to River Falls (139.475), and Logan/Central was fourth (122.9) in a seven-team competition.

Eva Dryer was second all-around for Onalaska/Luther with a 36.8. Logan/Central’s Elena Wagner was seventh (33.475).

Dryer placed second on the vault (9.4) and third on the balance beam (9.1) and uneven bars (8.9). Teammate Allison Komperud was second on the bars (8.95).

Spartan Invitational

MADISON — The West Salem co-op finished seventh out of 10 teams with a score of 136.675 at Madison Memorial.

Junior Camdyn Lyga had the Panthers’ best all-around score of the day with a 34.825.

Senior Kennedy Garbers was third on the balance beam (9.375), and Lyga tied for fifth (9.225). Lyga also tied for eighth on the floor exercise (9.025).
