SPARTA — The Logan/Luther co-op girls soccer team scored all of its goals in the second half during a 4-0 victory over Arcadia at Swanson Field on Thursday.
Senior Emma Kolb finished with two goals and gave her team a 2-0 lead in the 48th minute with an unassisted goal. Freshman Mackenzie Torgerud then found Kolb for another goal in the 61st minute to push the lead to 3-0.
Junior Kenzie Hanson and junior Ong Moua also scored for Logan/Luther. Torgerud assisted on Hanson’s goal in the 42nd minute, and sophomore Riley Horn assisted on Moua’s in the 66th.
Logan/Luther did not allow Arcadia a shot or corner kick in the game.
Onalaska 4, Sparta 0
SPARTA — The Hilltoppers (2-1) won their second straight game and shut out their second straight opponent.
Sophomore McKenna Alderman scored two goals for Onalaska, which has outscored its last two opponents 9-0. Alderman connected on the first goal and the third — both with assists from Isabella Cromheecke.
The Hilltoppers did not allow a shot on goal and forced the Sparta goalkeeper to stop 17 shots.
Cromheecke also scored a goal for Onalaska. It came on an assist from Sofiya Cromheecke and produced a 2-0 lead.
Ellie Thesing scored the final goal for the Hilltoppers and did it without an assist.
