WEST SALEM — The West Salem/Bangor ASL floor hockey team hosted a short-handed squad from Onalaska and came away with a 3-0 victory over the Hilltoppers at West Salem Middle School on Tuesday.
Sylvia Bath scored two goals, and teammate Cam Arndt scored once for the Panthers, who received shutout goaltending from Hunter Stello.
Stello’s shutout was also made possible by the offensive and defensive transition of Lilly Path and Carson Waters. In addition to the three goals scored by West Salem/Bangor, the offense was also pushed by the play of David Chandler, who pressured the Onalaska defense for shots on goal.
