LA CRESCENT — The Aquinas High School boys basketball team pushed its unbeaten start to the seaon another game with a 77-44 nonconference victory at La Crescent-Hokah on Tuesday.
The Blugolds (3-0), who are sixth in Division 3 for this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski Sports media poll, have won all three of their games by at least 24 points heading into Saturday’s home MVC showdown with unbeaten Onalaska (4-0).
Senior Logan Becker made three 3-pointers and scored 10 points in each half to lead Aquinas with 20 points. Senior Finley Strom added 15 points and senior Ryan Johnson 14 for the Blugolds. Johnson scored 11 in the first half to help Aquinas to a 41-22 halftime lead.
Onalaska 72, DeForest 42
ONALASKA — The Hilltoppers (3-0), ranked second in Division 2 by state media, outscored the Norskies (4-1) 28-4 to close out the first half of a nonconference victory.

Onalaska Luther 79, Arcadia 63
ARCADIA — Senior Brody Greeno made 7 of 12 shots in his way to a team-high 19 points for the Knights (2-2, 1-0 Coulee), who got back in the win column with a conference win after losing two straight games. Greeno also had four rebounds and three steals.
Senior Max Huelskamp added 18 points on 9-for-14 shooting and five steals, while junior Logan Pierce scored 14 and grabbed six rebounds for Luther.
Tomah 79, Logan 72
TOMAH — The Rangers (0-3, 0-2 MVC) had a six-point lead with seven minutes left, but the Timberwolves came back behind a game-high 33 points from Quinn Gerke.
Logan had taken that lead after erasing a 12-point halftime deficit.
Sophomore Tommy Check made four 3-pointers and scored 26 points to lead the Rangers. Check made three of his 3s in the second half and scored 15 of his points after halftime.
Junior Jameson Degenhardt added 15 points for Logan, which also received 10 from junior Ryan Thurman and eight from junior Harper Kendle.
