EAU CLAIRE — The Onalaska/Holmen/Aquinas/G-E-T co-op placed seventh and the La Crosse/West Salem co-op 10th at an invitational hosted by Eau Claire North on Saturday.
The Onalaska co-op scored 77.5 points and the La Crosse co-op 27 in a meet won by Eau Claire’s North and Memorial co-op (315.5).
Seth Russell placed fifth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:04.54, and teammate Deacon Durnil was sixth in the 100 butterfly (1:03.32) and ninth in the 50 freestyle (24.49) to lead the Onalaska co-op.
Durnil, Warrick Ranis, Wesley Ranis and Russell also placed fifth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:51.93), and Russell, Durnil, Warrick Ranis and Austin Bork reached the wall seventh in the 200 freestyle relay (1:43.48). Ranis added eighth place in the 100 backstroke (1:07.23).
The La Crosse co-op was led by a ninth-place finish from Nathan Grilley, Camden Daykin, Gabe Driscoll and Parker Wolff in the 200 medley relay (2:07.26).
