SPARTA — The Aquinas High School boys soccer team closed out its regular season with a 1-1 tie against Sparta in an MVC round-robin matchup.
The Blugolds (9-6-3 overall, 3-5-3 MVC) received their goal from Connor Benz on an assist from Cosmo Crockett.
Aquinas is seeded third in Division 4 for the upcoming WIAA tournament series. The Blugolds host sixth-seeded Richland Center in a regional semifinal at Fields for Kids on Oct. 23. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.

REEDSBURG — The Rangers came up short against the Beavers.
Logan finished with five shots on goal, and Parker Stevermer saved one shot in each half in goal.
