ASL soccer: Holmen bounces back from loss to complete 7-1 regular season

HOLMEN — The Holmen High School ASL soccer team rebounded from its only loss of the season to close out its regular season with a 7-5 victory over Onalaska at the Bernie L. Ferry Fieldhouse on Thursday.

The Vikings scored three goals in the first five minutes to set the tone and completed their regular season with a 7-1 record.

Wade Schuster scored twice and Kian Carlisle once to give Holmen that early 3-0 lead.

Aidan Romskog pushed the lead to 4-0 with a goal of his own before the Hilltoppers responded. Andrew Bell and Jett Lewis also scored before halftime for Holmen.

Onalaska scored four times in the second half, but it wasn’t enough. Bell scored his second goal in the second half, too.
