NOTEWORTHY: Central–The RiverHawks have won 4 straight games after losing their first 2 and are tied with Holmen for the MVC lead. … Senior QB Christian Rudrud (125-946, 12) has taken over the area rushing lead and continued to be more than an effective passer (38-50-584, 6-1). … Senior WR Connor Groth (23-402, 6) leads the area in receiving yards, and junior Gabe Servais has rushed for 318 yards and 4 TDs, passed for 145 yards and 1 TD and caught 12 pass for 122 yards and 1 TD; Tomah–The Timberwolves beat Baraboo 19-8 in Week 3 but struggled in other games with a 31-7 loss to Sparta and 42-13 loss to Holmen in the past 2 games … Junior QB Quinn Gerke (44-92-480, 7-4) and senior RB Shon Abbas (91-445, 2) will have to be the focus for Central’s defense.

NOTEWORTHY: Caledonia–The Warriors have won two straight games. … Senior Noah Schroeder had his biggest game of the season with 107 yards and 2 TDs in last week’s 32-15 win over Rochester Lourdes. … Senior RB Jack Schmitz (40-321, 5) still leads the team in rushing but didn’t play last week. … Senior QB Will Allen (39-83-665, 6-3) has passed for 339 yards and 5 TDs the past two weeks. … Sophomore WR Grant King had 102 receiving yards and a TD last week; Randolph–The Rockets have allowed 51 points the past two games and lost to Dover-Eyota — a team Caledonia shout out a couple of weeks ago — 30-6 last week.

LAST YEAR: The Knights won 28-14 and shut out the Blackhawks until the fourth quarter.
COULEE SERIES: Tied at 8-8 after Luther’s win last season.
