EYOTA — The Caledonia High School football team evened its record for the season with an 18-0 victory over Dover-Eyota on Saturday.
The Warriors (2-2 overall, 2-2 Three Rivers Conference — Yellow Division) used the combination of quarterback Will Allen and receivers Grant King and Jacoby Hammell for all three touchdowns, two of which came in the second quarter.
Allen completed 8 of 17 passes for 147 yards and the three touchdowns without being intercepted. He also carried seven times for 48 yards as Caledonia put up 286 total yards.
King caught TD passes of 2 and 10 yards in the second quarter, and Hammell had a 45-yard scoring catch in the third. Hammell finished with four receptions for 109 yards.
Senior Noah Schroeder added 44 rushing yards, and Jacob Klug and Jack Schmitz each intercepted a pass for the Warriors.
Aquinas 45, Onalaska Luther 12
ONALASKA — The Blugolds (5-0, 3-0) put up 45 points in the first half while rolling over the Knights (2-3, 2-1) in a game that began Friday at UW-La Crosse and finished Saturday at Luther.
Aquinas ran 35 plays and scored six touchdowns to hand the Knights their first conference loss and snap their two-game win streak.
Senior Ryan Johnson completed 11 of 15 passes for 171 yards and four touchdowns as Aquinas leaned on its passing game, and Keelan Haas returned an interception 83 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.
Jace Massa rushed for the first touchdown before Johnson completed a 12-yard scoring pass to Isaac Miller and a 16-yarder to Logan Becker. Parks Tobin caught a 9-yard TD pass and Becker another from 12 yards out in the second quarter.
Aquinas ran for just 44 yards, but no one carried the ball more than three times.
Becker led the Blugolds with four catches for 64 yards and the two touchdowns. Calvin Bahr caught two passes for a team-high 65 yards.

MELROSE — The Eagles (5-0, 3-0) scored 38 points after the game resumed on Saturday and remained unbeaten in the Dairyland.
Brady Blaken completed 11 of 20 passes for 109 yards and was intercepted once.
Isaiah Kleinsmith caught five passes for 61 yards, and Brett Peterson caught four for 44.
