ARKDALE — Aquinas High School senior Molly Swift and Onalaska led the local contingent that golfed in the Green Devil Invitational at Northern Bay Resort on Thursday.
Swift shot an 8-over-par 80 to place fourth overall, and the Hilltoppers recorded a team score of 379 to place third in a field of 20.
Onalaska was led by senior Sydney Kranig’s 13-place round of 90 and senior Rickie Tillotson’s 23rd-place 94.
Junior teammate Becka Mohr added a 95 and sophomore Finley Schams a 100 for the Hilltoppers, who trailed just Wisconsin Dells (356) and Tomah (358).
Holmen finished eighth (402) and Aquinas 18th (430).
Swift’s 80 included a birdie at No. 11 and a score of 41 on the front nine and 39 on the back. Kranig birdied No. 13 and No. 14 on the round that led the Hilltoppers.
The Vikings were led by freshman Serene Mather’s 90. Junior Emily Napiecek added a 100, senior Teagan Nelson a 104 and sophomore Kaylee Banse a 108.
The Blugolds received scoring rounds from senior Hayden Zehren (109), senior Lucy Reyerson (114) and freshman Mirachelle Wall (127).
