LA CROSSE — The Aquinas High School girls soccer team stepped out of the regular-season MVC tournament schedule on Monday and beat visiting Melrose-Mindoro/G-E-T 6-0 in a nonconference game at Fields for Kids.
Freshman Hanna Miller and junior Alex Myre both scored early and finished with two goals apiece for the Blugolds (10-3-2), who put 14 of 26 shots on goal against the Titans (4-8).
Junior Hayden Zehren and senior Nora Dickinson also scored for Aquinas, which received three assists from Myre and one each from Dickinson and Miller.
