LA CROSSE — The Aquinas High School softball team won for the fourth time in five games on Wednesday with a 10-3 MVC victory over Logan at Pammel Creek.
The Rangers (5-16, 1-9) scored three runs in the top of the first inning before the Blugolds (8-9, 5-6) scored the final 10 and moved within one victory of a .500 record.
Catcher Kathryn Savoldelli was 3 for 4 with two RBIs for Aquinas. Shortstop Ava Fernholz was 3 for 3 with a triple, two stolen bases and two RBIs as the Blugolds reached 10 runs for the third time in five games.
Tessa Miskowski drove in three runs, and Ella Deets doubled, tripled and drove in three runs while Abby Ziolkowski held Logan to four hits.
Maria Weber doubled, and Kaia DePaolo, Mariana Rojo and Kenna Streeck each drove in one run for the Rangers.
