LEWISTON — The Caledonia High School softball team scored 23 runs in a doubleheader sweep of Lewiston-Altura on Thursday.
The Warriors (11-1) ran their winning streak to six games after beating the Cardinals 10-2 and 13-2.
First baseman Elsa Blum hit a home run and drove in two runs for Caledonia in the first game, which included 11 hits. Second baseman Vivian Kittleson was 2 for 2 with a double and team-high three runs driven in.
Adrienne Lange had three of the Warriors’ seven stolen bases and went 2 for 5 with three runs scored.
Pitcher Avery Augedahl also doubled and drove in two runs in addition to striking out 13 and allowing one run on four hits and no walks.
Caledonia had 14 hits in the second game, and Blum was 4 for 4 with another home run. Augedahl homered twice and Paizley Lange once in the blowout. Blum also doubled.
Left fielder Brairy Proulx was 3 for 3, and Augedahl drove in five runs. Lange and Blum each drove in three.
Augedahl struck out six and allowed no earned runs on four hits and no walks in the second game.

BLACK RIVER FALLS — The Knights (7-7, 2-5) picked up a sweep with 26 hits and a seven-run first inning was the key to winning the second game.
Catcher Julia Sill was 4 for 5 with two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored in the first game. Luther pulled away from a 5-3 lead with seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to win that one.
First baseman Karly Miller also hit a home run for the Knights, who had 16 hits. Shortstop Rylee Weber was 3 for 4 with a triple and scored three runs, and third baseman Karlie Bauer doubled and drove in three runs.
Sill was 3 for 4 with a double and scored three times in the second game, while left fielder/pitcher Kayla Schultz was 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Second baseman Amanda Yonkovich was 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Knights.
