STEWARTVILLE — The Caledonia High School softball team received its stiffest challenge of the season Saturday, but it simply turned into another chance for sophomore pitcher Avery Augedahl to demonstrate her dominance.
Augedahl struck out 15 batters and allowed one single and one double to go with two walks as the Warriors beat Stewartville 1-0.
Augedahl has yet to allow an earned run over 29 innings pitched this season, and she has recorded 62 strikeouts.
Catcher Adrienne Lange made the offensive difference when she led off the game with a home run to left field. Elsa Blum also had two hits for Caledonia (5-0), which won by shutout for the fourth time this season.

FALL CREEK — The Crickets scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to knock off the Panthers.
Pitcher Josie Brudos was 2 for 4 with a stolen base, and third baseman Dylynn Bayer and right fielder Kylie Elsen were both 2 for 3. Bayer also drove in a run.

DURAND — Freshman Sydney Kraus was 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs in the win over Osceola and 3 for 4 with three triples and three RBIs in the win over Durand-Arkansaw.
Kraus also pitched in both games for the Hiltoppers (5-2) and struck out 19 batters over nine innings.
Outfielder MJ Heit was 4 for 5 and scored four runs against Osceola, and Jenna Gansen drove in three runs against Osceola and two more against Durand-Arkansaw.
McKenzie Runde was 3 for 4 with two RBIs in the first game and doubled and drove in three in the second, and Lauren Pica was 2 for 2 with a double in the second game.

LA CROSSE — The Rangers split two games at their own triangular.
Third baseman Kenna Streeck doubled, went 2 for 5 and drove in three runs to highlight the victory over Memorial. First baseman Sophie Schmitz, shortstop Emma Bacon, catcher Maria Weber and pitcher Kaia DePaolo all had two hits, and Weber drove in two runs.
Right fielder Sarah Johnson doubled and drove in three runs in the loss to River Valley. Weber and Schmitz also had two hits apiece in that game.

ONALASKA — The Blugolds pieced together 15 runs to win a pair of nonconference games.
Sophomore Brynn Grabowski pitched a complete game against Osseo-=Fairchild, and junior Abby Ziolkowski pitched a complete game against C-FC. Grabowski struck out six, walked one and allowed three runs on four hits. Ziolkowski scattered five hits, walked none and allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts.
Tessa Miskowski, Ava Scholze and Lauren Von Ruden were all 2 for 4 against the Chieftains, and Scholze and Miskowski homered.
Ava Fernholz was 3 for 4 against the Pirates, and Kathryn Savoldelli, Miskowski and Ryann Klar all went 2 for 4.
Luther 12, C-FC 2

ONALASKA — The Knights also won twice at their triangular and outscored their opponents 31-3.
Rylee Weber was a combined 6 for 9 with six runs scored, a double, a triple and four RBIs for Luther.
Amanda Yonkovich and Julia Sill each had a monster game, with Yonkovich going 4 for 4 with two doubles, one triple and three RBIs against the Pirates and Sill going 4 for 5 with a home run, two doubles, six RBIs and four runs scored against O-F.
Kaitlyn Van Loon was 2 for 3 with two RBIs against C-FC and tripled against O-F. Karly Miller was 3 for 3 with a double and three runs scored, and Kayla Sculz 3 for 5 with a double and four RBIs against the Chieftains.
