WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Onalaska High School girls soccer team won its second game in as many days, and Avery Cowley picked up a shutout in a 1-0 nonconference victory at Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday.
Cowley stopped all seven shots sent her way, and Mallory Meighan converted an assist from Amelia Spencer 14 minutes, 40 seconds into the game as the Hilltoppers improved to 2-0 and ran their season goal total to 14 after Monday’s 13-0 MVC victory over Arcadia.
West Salem 3, Rice Lake 2
RICE LAKE — The Panthers scored the only second-half goal and came away with a nonconference victory over the Warriors.
Addy Ferguson tied the score at 1 by finishing a one-on-on-attack in the first half, and Sammy Niemeier scored on a header off an assist from Brynlee Kelly to get West Salem to halftime tied at 2.
Kelly then played a role in the winning goal by beating two defenders to get a pass to Emily Graham, who finished to break the tie.

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN — The Blugolds received goals from Alexa Myre and Morghan Gerling and put 17 shots in goal to the Blackhawks’ 5.

TREMPEALEAU — The Blugolds downed the Knights in a nine-hole dual at Trempealeau Mountain.
James Siegert was match medalist for the Blugolds with his round of 2-over-par 37.
Jack Vogel shot a 39 and Luke Jones a 42 for Aquinas.

Bangor Invitational
BANGOR — Logan and Onalaska came away with several individual champions at a meet that did not keep team scores.
Logan senior Jacob Hackbarth made the transition to the outdoor portion of the schedule with a victory in the discus and performance of 151 feet, 11 inches.
Teammates Jasper Moesch (shot put, 45-9.25) and Brett Jefferies (pole vault, 14 feet) also won field events, while Andrew Stanton (200, 23.96 seconds) and Gabe Driscoll (400, 53.32) won on the track.
Onalaska received boys victories from Arlo White in the 1,600 (4:32.15), Carson Fink in the 3,200 (10:56.52) and Cooper Hegge in the high jump (6-0).
Onalaska’s girls had four individual champions.
Ella Stevens won the 100 hurdles (15.52) and Makena McGarry the triple jump (36-1), while Elin Gilles took the 400 (1:02.58) and Mara Klein the 3,200 (12:26.79).
