The Logan and West Salem high school ASL wiffle ball teams went back and forth before the Panthers emerged with an 11-9 victory on Tuesday.
West Salem fell behind early but used a five-run fourth inning — the most runs that be scored in an inning is five — to take the lead for good in the five-inning contest.
West Salem played with the help of four Bangor athletes playing in their first ASL game. Owen Anderson, Tryton Gilbertson, David Chandler and Wyatt Horstman all contributed to the West Salem victory.
