Gymnastics: Holmen pulls out another MVC victory

ONALASKA — The Holmen High School gymnastics team posted another MVC victory on Thursday with a score of 139.825 in a meet hosted by the Onalaska/Luther co-op.

Onalaska/Luther was second with a 136.0, and the Logan/Central co-op fourth at 133.4.

Holmen senior Katie Lange won the all-around with a score of 37.05. She won the uneven bars (9.2) and balance beam (9.2) and was second on the floor exercise (9.4) and vault (9.25).

Senior Eva/Dryer led Onalaska/Luther with a third-place finish all-around (35.5). It was highlighted by fourth-place finishes on the balance beam (8.7) and vault (8.825).

Logan/Central’s Danika Parnell and Elena Wagner tied for fourth place all-around. Wagner was second on the balance beam (9.05), and Parnell was third on the vault (9.175) and fourth on the floor exercise (9.3).

Holmen’s Mina Hawkins was third on the floor exercise (9.35), while teammate Molly McBride was third on the balance beam (8.9) and teammate Nadia Trapnell was third on the uneven bars (8.75).
