HOLMEN — The Holmen High School boys wrestling team picked up a couple of MVC dual victories on Thursday by sweeping a competition that also included Onalaska/Luther and Tomah at the Bernie L. Ferry Fieldhouse.
The Vikings beat the Hilltoppers 72-12 and the Timberwolves 69-11. Tomah also beat Onalaska/Luther 54-30.
Holmen received two victories each from Turner Campbell (132 pounds), Noah Henderson (138), AJ Alesch (157), Jonathon Lamprich (165 and 175), Rex Lancaster (106) and Nathan Henderson (120).
Campbell, Noah Henderson, Lamprich, Lancaster and Nathan Henderson all won twice by pin. Alesch pinned one opponent and beat the other by technical fall.
Maximus Todd (165) and Grady Dunnum (215) both won by pin twice for Onalaska/Luther.
