ONALASKA — The Holmen High School ASL soccer team scored five goals in the second half to turn a game that was tied after one half into a 9-6 victory at Onalaska on Thursday.
Aiden Romskog had a hat trick after halftime, and Karsen Nelson and Logan Rastall scored once each as the undefeated Vikings (6-0) pulled away from a 4-4 tie after one half. Gabriella Villareal played in goal for the first time in the second half and held the Hilltoppers to two goals after the four they scored in the first half.
All of Holmen’s first-half goals were scored by first-timers.
Owen Wengel started the scoring with his first goal before Onalaska countered to tie the game at 1. Landon Wientzen then scored his first two goals for a 3-1 lead, and Connor Siverhus gave Holmen a 4-2 lead with his first goal in a game that included strong offense and defense from Jack Teegan.
