It’s been difficult for any local team to challenge Tomah High School for an MVC girls golf championship in recent years.
Aquinas placed a distant second and Onalaska third to the Timberwolves last fall, while Arcadia placed third in the Coulee Conference.
Here is a list of players to keep your eyes on as the season gets underway, although more will emerge. KALYCE SOBOTTA, jr., Arcadia: Placed fifth with a 54 during the Coulee Conference championship meet at Drugan’s Castle Mound in Holmen and earned honorable mention to the all-conference team as one of several contributing sophomores for third-place Arcadia.
