OCONOMOWOC — The Holmen High School boys golf team tied for seventh place in a field of 27 teams during the MACC Fund Invitational at The Club at Lac La Belle on Friday.
The Vikings turned in a team score of 323 to tie Lake Coountry Luthern in a meet that was won by DeForest (299). River Falls was second at 307, and Madison Edgewood and Seymour tied for third at 312.
Senior Cale Halaska shot a 7-over-par 78 to lead Holmen and tie for 19th individually. He shot a 4-pver 39 on the front nine and a 3-over 39 on the back nine with a birdie on No. 12.
Junior Logan Pinnow and senior Spencer Gault each shot an 80 and junior Ayden Dirks an 85 to round out the Vikings’ team score.
