ASL wiffle ball: West Salem beats Logan and improves record to 5-1

WEST SALEM — The West Salem High School ASL wiffle ball team has won five of six games after recording a 10-6 victory over Logan on Tuesday.

The Panthers supplied plenty of offense and recorded a big double play late in the game to help secure the win. Bri Smith started the double play by cleanly fielding the ball before tossing it to Levi Wulf for the force at second base. Wulf then fired to first to complete the sequence.

West Salem also honored senior Angela Bakke, who started her ASL experience as a manager with the team before watching it expand in the ensuing seasons.
