WEST SALEM — The West Salem High School ASL wiffle ball team had a big first inning and rode the momentum to a 15-8 victory over visiting Onalaska at West Salem Middle School on Tuesday.
The Panthers made consistent contact with their bats, and Eli Greil hit his first home run. Owen Anderson and Lexi Randall recorded doubles, and Randall made an impact as a pitcher and defensive player. Wyatt Horstman also had a solid defensive game at first base for West Salem.

HOLMEN — Plenty of runs were scored at the Bernie L. Ferry Fieldhouse, and the RiverHawks prevailed.
Nick Herman and Gabriella Villareal highlighted Holmen’s defensive performance when Herman turned a triple play, and Villareal went to the splits to get an out at second base.
Josie Colombo pitched the entire game for the Vikings, and Aiden Romskog caught the whole game. The Vikings started the season with a win over not getting a victory last season and will try to build on their 1-1 start with another game Thursday.
