ARCADIA — The Logan High School girls basketball team outscored Arcadia by 10 points in the second half to pick up a 47-43 nonconference victory over the Raiders at the Wanek Center on Tuesday.
The victory is the Rangers’ first this season against a team with a winning record and is their second in three games as they improved to 4-14.
Sophomore Lilly Dettwiler scored 16 points to lead Logan in a game it trailed 21-15. Dettwiler made one 3-pointers and scored 11 of her points in the second half.
Junior Lydia Mason added 14 points and scored 10 of those during Logan’s 32-point second half.
Arcadia (11-8) was led by sophomore Tatum Drazkowski’s game-high 17 points. She made two 3s and scored nine points in the second half. Sophomore Sacia Boland made two first-half 3-pointers and added eight points for the Raiders.
Central 47, Onalaska 32
ONALASKA — Senior Zaya Whitaker scored 10 points and had a game-high 16 rebounds as the second-place RiverHawks (15-4, 7-1) won their seventh straight game.
Junior Alahnna Simpson had 16 points, nine rebounds, six steals and five assists for Central, which led 24-10 at halftime by holding Onalaska to three first-half field goals.
The Hilltoppers (9-10, 4-4) were led by sophomore Lauren Pica’s nine points. Freshman Kayla Ketelhut added six points for Onalaska, which had a two-game win streak stopped.
