The Aquinas High School dance team won jazz and placed fourth in pom at the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom regional in Madison on Saturday and will compete in state competition at the La Crosse Center on Friday.
The competition is a two-day event, and Aquinas qualified both individuals and its team to compete on Friday. The competition concludes on Saturday.
Qualified soloists are Avonlea Stanley, Elsa Fortner and Riley Wiczek. Stanley will perform at 3:48 p.m., followed by Fortner at 3:52 p.m. and Wiczek at 3:56 p.m.
Aquinas will compete in the team jazz competition at 6:13 p.m. and pom competition at 7:40 p.m.
All performances will take place in the Riverside Ballroom in the upper level from the spectator entrance.
