ONALASKA — The Onalaska Luther High School girls basketball team is piecing together some victories.
The Knights picked up their third win in a row and fourth in the past five games with a 53-26 nonconference victory over visiting Tomah on Monday.
Luther (12-3) allowed just 11 first-half points and had four players score at least nine points in dropping the Timberwolves to a 1-13 record.
Senior Allie Zittel made 4 of 8 shots and connected on 3 of 7 attempts from the 3-point line to tie senior Macie Neumeister and freshman Natalie Hackbarth with 12 points. Zittel and Hackbarth also led the team with three assists each and combined for five of the Knights’ 16 steals.
Neumeister had three rebounds and three steals, and Hackbarth added three steals. Senior Payton Holub also scored nine points for Luther, which hosts Arcadia on Thursday.
Arcadia 56, C-FC 50
ARCADIA — The Raiders (10-6) emerged victorious in what coach Evan Pagel called a physical game against the Pirates to run their winning streak to four games.
Arcadia, which has also won five of six, was able to get free throws from Tatum Drazkowski, Justine Sonsalla and Sacia Boland down the stretch to hold on.
Drazkowski, a sophomore, and Sonsalla, a junior, scored a team-high 13 points. Junior Joselyn Lockington added 12. Drazkowski scored nine in the first half as Arcadia took a 25-19 lead.

Luther 82, Cashton 26
CASHTON — The Knights (11-4) won their fourth game in a row heading into a Friday game at G-E-T.
Luther scored the first 20 points and had 12 players score at least two points.
The Knights shot 56 percent from the floor — they made 34 of 61 attempts — and drilled six 3-pointers.
Senior guard Synclair Byus led Luther with 16 points, four steals and four assists. He made 6 of 8 shots and hit two 3-pointers.
Senior Will Huelskamp added 13 points and junior Brody Greeno 10 points, three rebounds and two steals for the Knights, who took a 47-13 lead into the second half.
