ONALASKA — The Aquinas/Holmen/G-E-T co-op boys hockey team was part of a tied game in the second period, but Sauk Prairie scored three times in the third period to hand the Avalanche a 4-1 nonconference defeat at the OmniCenter on Friday.
The Avalanche (8-8) allowed the Silver Eagles to score first 50 seconds after faceoff, but senior Casey Keane tied it at 1 with assists from James Siegert and Ian Bass on a power play at 6:58.
Keane has scored four goals this season, and Siegert and Bass each have seven assists.
